ACCORDING TO LOOK AT OUTCOMES, SAN DIEGO — Patients with gastroparesis who’ve vitamin, mineral, or protein deficiencies, which is set half of-sufferers, are more prone to signs and symptoms of nausea and vomiting, according to outcomes presented at Digestive Disease Week. Patients completed the Patient Assessment of Gastrointestinal Symptoms, Rome IV diagnostic questionnaires, and questionnaires on their remedy use and beyond clinical histories. Researchers amassed diet, mineral, and protein levels and did 4-hour gastric emptying scintigraphy.
Jehangir and co-workers observed that fifty-three .1% of sufferers with gastroparesis symptoms had a deficiency of at least one diet, mineral, or protein.
